Terms Entered in Search Tools
When a visitor types a name, location, or other query into a search box, the entry goes to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Fayette County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy practices govern its receipt and processing of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or submit a contact message, we keep the information needed to review and answer it. Those messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Information Collected Automatically
Ordinary server, analytics, and advertising systems may record technical details when a page loads. These records can include:
- The visitor's Internet Protocol address.
- The browser name and version.
- The device category and operating system.
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them.
- The referring website, when one is supplied.
- The date and time of each request.
